Due to an increase in commercial and industrial construction projects in New South Wales, a leading provider of Fire Alarm services is seeking qualified technicians/electricians to join their dedicated team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for installation and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems, reading and interpreting fire protection plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations, working effectively within a team or independently on various project tasks, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site, and completing relevant documentation and obtaining customer sign offs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation and Commissioning of Fire Detection Systems
  • Reading and Interpreting Fire Protection Plans
  • Ensuring Compliance with Safety Standards and Regulations
  • Working Effectively as Part of a Team or Independently
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Technical Issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience in fire alarm systems installation is essential
  • A strong understanding of fire detection equipment and relevant safety codes
  • Excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem solver
  • Trade certification in Electrical or Fire Protection Technology
  • Full Australian working rights
