About the Role

Susquehanna Pacific is seeking a highly skilled Equity Analyst to join our Research team. As an Equity Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the equity or options market, providing real-time opinions on breaking news, and collaborating with senior analysts and traders to develop trade ideas.

This role requires a strong understanding of macroeconomic environments, political events, and financial research skills. You will work collaboratively with the research analysts and traders on your desk to gain practical exposure and develop your skills in a fast-paced proprietary trading environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze upcoming volatility events
  • Provide real-time opinions on breaking news
  • Forecast dividends
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Perform stock valuation analysis
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in, and some knowledge of, macroeconomic environment and political events
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
