Senior Management Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to partner with us in our manufacturing business. This is a key leadership position that requires strong analytical and management skills.

  • Manage and oversee monthly financial closures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, explain variances, and assess operational impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with management teams to present findings and actionable insights.
  • Prepare detailed reports highlighting cost behaviors and overall business performance metrics.
  • Oversee cost accounting activities, including maintaining product costing data and conducting inventory assessments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by delivering precise analysis and meaningful commentary.
  • Contribute to audit preparations and respond to internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Provide financial guidance and training to stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing business.
  • Proficient in using large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Netsuite.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Commercially-minded with solid analytical abilities.
  • A self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
