Specialist Children's Practitioner Role

This Specialist Children's Practitioner position is responsible for delivering high-quality, integrated family assessment and response programs with a focus on parent education and skill development to enhance child development and healthy attachment.

As a key member of our team, you will deliver compassionate parenting education and group programs, support families through assessments and strength-based planning, empower parents with attachment-based strategies and child development knowledge, collaborate with case workers to ensure holistic care, and create engaging resources for each family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored parenting education and group programs

  • Lead staff training to embed trauma-informed practice
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in social work or related discipline
  • Experience in early childhood education or related field (desirable)
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed work with children and families
  • Confidence in delivering parenting education or developmental tools
