You will make an impact by
Delivering high-quality, family-centred care that supports the health, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–6.
Building trusted relationships with families, offering guidance and support through key developmental stages and life challenges.
Identifying and responding to complex needs including mental health, family violence, and child safety concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure wraparound support and optimal outcomes for families.
Leading and participating in community education initiatives that promote health, resilience and connection across the municipality.
What You Will Bring
Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse and Midwife.
Qualification as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
Desirable minimum 2 years' experience in the MCH sector, with demonstrated ability to support vulnerable and diverse families within an outreach setting.
Strong clinical knowledge of child development, behaviour and family dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally safe practice.
Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately, including mandatory reporting.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
