Job Summary

The position of Senior Payment Operations Manager is a vital role within our organization. As an integral part of the team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring timely and effective delivery of domestic and international payments.

This role will support the APAC Manager in building and delivering a best-in-class payment processing service. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop an efficient payments and deals processing operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring payments reach clients and beneficiaries in a timely manner with high data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Validating payment data, ensuring local routing requirements and regulations are met.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on international and domestic payments, payment related schemes and systems.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Participating in the settlement process of spot and forward orders.
  • Handling 2nd level escalations professionally.
  • Driving team performance to deliver within payment cutoffs and expected Service Level Agreements.
  • Training and supporting Operations Associates on a continuous basis.
  • Managing a team of employees, providing effective performance management practices.
  • Supporting management in audit requests, refining procedures and defining service level agreements.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in administrative and team lead capacity.
  • Experience in financial/banking industry, global payment formatting requirements and SWIFT banking system.
  • Fully proficient with MS Office and IT literate.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines.
