About the Role:
">We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Employment Coach to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to explore their career goals, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment.
">You will take the time to understand each client's strengths and aspirations, offering tailored coaching, linking them to opportunities, and collaborating with employers to open doors. This is a fast-paced, people-focused environment where your energy, empathy, and commitment to outcomes will shine.
">The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions. They will be skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
">Key Responsibilities Include:
">Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
">Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
">Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
">Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
">Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
">Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion
">Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities
">Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
">Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
">Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

">The ideal candidate will have essential criteria including qualifications in employment or human services, proven ability to meet KPIs, and a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
