Dynamic Urgent Care Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse to join our team. As an essential member of our urgent care service, you will be responsible for identifying patients who require front-line care and providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with medical practitioners.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Triage of all patients who present to the service
- Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
- Act promptly for any triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration
- Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for the dynamic urgent care environment
You will deliver person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners, ensuring patients achieve desired clinical outcomes. You will also provide essential health education to patients and complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
About Your Qualifications:- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Available evenings and weekends
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check required
- Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care settings
