Job Title: Urgent Care Practice Nurse

This is a part-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with medical practitioners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Triage patients who present to the urgent care service, conducting comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments.
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing healthcare setting.
  • Deliver person-centered care, educating patients on their health and treatment options.
Essential Qualifications:
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with current registration.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred.
  • Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration, escalating appropriately.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and critical thinking.
