Urgent Care Nurse
About the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled Urgent Care Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in our Gold Coast City location.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage patients promptly and provide front-line care in collaboration with medical practitioners.
- Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage, ensuring timely escalation of emergency cases.
- Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in the dynamic Urgent Care environment.
- Deliver person-centered care, working collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
- Provide essential health education to patients, promoting self-management and empowerment.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, supporting seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available evenings and weekends, with a willingness to work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.
- Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred, but not essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care settings, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high level of empathy and understanding.
