This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team.
Our organisation is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians across Northern NSW Local Health District in the provision of evidence-based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
- Provide clinical psychology services within the Safeguard Service team, which is community-based and provides rapid, mobile, intensive, and flexible short-term delivery of skilled evidence-based interventions to resolve mental health crises both in the community and acute facilities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, and to contribute to the development of culturally sensitive and responsive mental health services.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
