We are seeking a skilled Child Mental Health Specialist to join our dedicated team.

Clinical leadership and psychology services will be provided to children and adolescents across Northern NSW, with a focus on delivering best-practice care.

  • The Safeguards Team is a new resource that provides innovative and evidence-based care to children aged 0-18 experiencing acute mental health distress.
  • This role involves providing clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians in the provision of best-practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  • A community-based approach will be taken, with rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short-term interventions delivered to resolve mental health crises in both community and acute facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians
  • Deliver clinical psychology services within the Safeguard Service team
