We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering services to our residents. Your focus will be on preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our menu plans and dietary requirements
  • Ensure that all food is presented in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support


Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate
  • Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision
