Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and respectful manner
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service and maintain a positive work environment

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. As a Food Service Assistant, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential aged care setting
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • A current food handling certificate and willingness to obtain any necessary training or certifications
