Director, Legal

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead and develop a team of lawyers. The successful candidate will deliver advice and litigation services on complex matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to provide independent, strategic, and client-centric legal services.
  • Deliver advice and litigation services on complex matters related to current and emerging legal issues.
  • Oversee the development of procedures and systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage external legal providers and liaise with senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Admission as a practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory, or the ability to become so admitted.
  • Substantial legal experience at a senior level in relevant matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across teams and levels.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced organisation.
