The Role
  • Analyze profit & loss statements to ensure accurate month-end reports, reflecting the company's financial health.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate client billing and reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and contract compliance.
Main Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely month-end closing processes ensuring seamless transition into new periods.
  • Month-end reconciliations identifying discrepancies and rectifying errors.
  • P&L preparation and analysis driving data-driven decision making.
  • Preparation of monthly reports highlighting key findings and trends to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to offer solutions enhancing financial performance.
  • Create accurate journal entries as required, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Ensure stock take reconciliation aligning physical counts with financial records.
  • Regular management reporting and analysis providing insights for informed decision making.
  • Develop, prepare, analyze, and distribute reports tailored to specifications.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Administration of invoicing, receipt, and approval processes streamlining financial operations.
  • Create invoices according to contract agreements.
  • Follow up on invoice payments and queries resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain contract compliance adhering to terms and conditions.
  • Prepare Contract Price Escalations and Contractual Variations.
  • Review commercial terms to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist internal and external stakeholders in their financial needs.
Person Specification
  • Degree qualified and/or studying towards CA/CPA.
  • Previous accounting experience with a private or public company.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to drive data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude working autonomously within a team environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience within a commercial accounting environment.
  • Experience in the ORACLE accounting system.
