Supportive Caregiver Position Available

About the Role
">We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Residential Care Worker to provide therapeutic support and care to vulnerable young people in a home environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma and its effects on young people, as well as experience working in the Out of Home Care sector. They will be a strong communicator, creative problem solver, and able to adapt to varying situations with confidence and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include creating a safe and nurturing home environment, providing consistent care for young people, and supporting them in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits.
Requirements include a Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification, a current Working with Children Check, and comprehensive training including AOD, First Aid, Health & Safety, and more.
