Job Opportunity:
This role presents a chance to drive wholesale revenue growth through promotional strategies, leveraging distributor relationships and marketing initiatives. As a State Account Manager, you will manage customer engagement, ensure seamless execution, and foster enduring partnerships.
- Develop strategic relationships with distributors to drive portfolio growth in Wholesale and Key Accounts.
- Leverage wholesalers to support National Account Management plans by identifying opportunities and efficiencies.
- Design and implement National Promotional Programs to achieve sales growth while managing investment in distribution and advertising.
You will collaborate with internal teams, participate in Sales Planning Meetings, and oversee direct reports. Additionally, you will provide timely product forecasts, manage financial claims, and work with finance on quarterly reviews.
To be successful, you need 5-7 years of account management experience, preferably in a state account or senior account executive role. You should possess strong negotiation skills, excellent presentation skills, and business acumen. Relationship building, stakeholder management, communication, organization, and planning skills are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales process, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure them.
- Leverage your understanding of market trends and competitor activity to inform sales decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
- Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, including customer contact information and purchase history.
