We are seeking an experienced and qualified Horticultural and/or Landscape Architect professional to join our team as a City Parks Coordinator. As a key member of our City Parks business unit, you will play a critical role in achieving our business objectives and providing leadership to our City Parks staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the City Parks business unit to achieve strategic, business, and asset management plans.
- Provide leadership to City Parks staff in pursuit of customer service excellence and risk management.
- Develop and implement effective reporting and budgeting processes.
- Assist in forward planning estimates of maintenance and capital works budget.
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture and/or Landscape Architecture.
- Minimum of five years recent experience in managing parks and gardens.
- Extensive experience in tenders and contract administration.
- Experience in successfully managing a large team.
- Hold a current unrestricted 'C' class national driver's licence.
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation.
- A competitive salary range of $125,891 to $134,254 gross per annum.
- Restricted private use of a Council vehicle.
