Maintenance Administrative Assistant

A Maintenance Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of maintenance activities within our organization. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role encompasses various responsibilities, including purchasing support to production and maintenance, maintenance system administration, and contractor management.
The Maintenance Administrative Assistant serves as a central point of contact for coordinating maintenance tasks, assists in managing resources, and optimizes processes to enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Procure materials, supplies, and equipment required for extrusion and maintenance activities
- Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing budgets to prevent shortages and control costs
- Oversee the maintenance management system, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping
- Monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage contractual agreements
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for maintenance records and reports
- Coordinate communication and collaboration between maintenance personnel and other departments within the business
- Assist in monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities
We're looking for a self-motivated and well-disciplined individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in administration and computerized maintenance management systems is highly desirable.
