A technical specialist plays a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise asset management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions to improve asset management processes and system functionality using development and configuration expertise.
  • Customising applications, automations, escalations, and reports to meet evolving business requirements and support operational teams.
  • Troubleshooting issues, managing product fixes with vendors, and ensuring asset management systems remain robust and aligned with best practices.
  • Providing technical coaching, training, and clear documentation to enable organisation-wide adoption of asset management solutions.
  • Collaborating with asset owners, subject matter experts, and vendors to ensure solutions support strategic asset management goals.
  • Participating in system upgrades, testing, and integration activities to deliver enhancements that drive efficiency and data integrity.
About the Role

This technical specialist will initially focus on network assets but has potential to expand to other asset classes including property, ICT, and software assets.

The role will contribute to strengthening asset management culture and capability across all business areas.
