About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team at our East Maitland site. As an Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks with efficiency and precision
  • Operating forklifts and performing manual handling tasks while adhering to safety protocols
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard and operational areas
  • Conducting daily safety checks and safely operating forklifts
  • Adhering to safety procedures and promoting a culture of safety within the team

You will work closely with experienced operators who will provide guidance and support to ensure your success within the company.

The ideal candidate is someone who values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working at a steady pace and be willing to learn new skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A high-risk forklift license/ticket is essential for this role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity
  • A positive mindset and willingness to learn new skills
  • Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
