The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Green Leaves Seaford Heights. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Implement comprehensive transition-to-school programs for Kindergarten children, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal preparation for future academic success.
- Mentor and support colleagues in curriculum implementation, documentation, and classroom management, promoting excellence in teaching practices.
- Develop and maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-presented learning environment, reflecting the highest standards of pedagogy and aesthetics.
- Promote a culture of lifelong learning among colleagues, actively contributing to the growth and development of the education team.
- A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard/Framework (NQS/NQF), with expertise in translating these frameworks into engaging and effective learning experiences.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in early childhood education and research-informed pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and the broader community.
