Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled warehouse professional to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a key player in receiving and managing stock, you will ensure smooth operations and keep the warehouse in top condition.

About You:

  • You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence clearance.
  • You will also be required to successfully complete an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as stipulated by contract requirements.
  • A valid forklift license is desirable.
  • Experience in warehousing or store environments is beneficial.
  • You should have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • You should be computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with systems such as MILIs will be highly regarded.
  • You should be comfortable working with Defence personnel and other stakeholders.
  • You should have your own transport and a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use the computer system to track stock quantities and locations.
  • Operate machinery, including forklifts, to move goods safely OR be willing to obtain a forklift license.
  • Ensure proper custody of inventory by conducting regular stock checks, monitoring quantities, assessing equipment for deterioration, tracking shelf life expiration, and ensuring the security of all items.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including packing and scheduling.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks to keep the warehouse tidy and organized.
  • Face-to-face customer service.
