We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative specialist in paediatric palliative medicine to join our team.
This is a permanent, full-time position providing holistic, family-centred care to children across the region.
You will be part of a small, dedicated team making a big impact, supporting children and families and helping shape the future of paediatric palliative care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist paediatric palliative care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings
- Participate in after hours support and statewide on-call advisory services
- Collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Contribute to education and training for medical students, junior doctors, nursing and allied health staff
- Engage in research, quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Fellowship of the RACP and Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (or equivalent)
- Current specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and compassionate care delivery
- Strong communication, leadership and teaching skills
- Be part of a highly respected children’s hospital and a supportive, values-driven team
- Contribute to a service that truly matters
