Job Description

Role Summary

The Future Student Consultant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to prospective students, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience that drives student load targets across various programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert knowledge of La Trobe University's offerings, including courses, programs, and campus amenities, to prospective students.
  • Manage customer engagement within the Future Student Contact Centre, responding to inquiries and providing tailored advice to meet individual needs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to engage with prospective students, including tactical outbound engagement and participation in future student programs and events.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve student load targets and contribute to the growth of the university's student body.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the higher education environment and the student journey, including the sales funnel from initial inquiry to enrollment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Desirable: proficiency in a second language, such as Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, or Vietnamese.
