About the Role

The Student Ambassador program at Chisholm Institute of TAFE aims to provide students with an opportunity to develop their employability and enhance career readiness. As a Student Ambassador, you will play a key role in providing seamless service and engagement to all Chisholm students and prospective students, with the aim of improving social connectedness through peer-to-peer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general assistance to current and prospective students, serving as the welcoming face of Chisholm in commonly accessed spaces.
  • Support students in navigating physical and digital spaces to source the information they require, both face-to-face and via digital channels.
  • Promote self-service, helping students to independently find the information they need in the digital environment, aligning with individual skill sets and departmental needs.
  • Maintain physical environments throughout Chisholm campuses and external exhibition events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for students and prospective students.
  • Assist with general office administration, including preparation and packing of marketing collateral for events, data entry, and other general office duties.
  • Attend on-campus recruitment and pathways events, such as Open Nights, school expos, and tours.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be currently enrolled and actively participating in a Chisholm Institute of TAFE course, with demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service. You will also possess the ability to work collaboratively, adopt a teamwork approach, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
