About Our Heavy Diesel Fitters Role

We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team of heavy diesel fitters in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and unplanned repairs on Hitachi, Komatsu, and Caterpillar mining equipment. This role requires proactive individuals with a solution-focused approach, strong technical expertise in modern mining fleets, and a "can-do" attitude to maintain fleet reliability, safety, and efficiency.

  • Perform Maintenance Tasks:
  • Ensure works performed are done in a safe manner and in line with WHS legislation and company OH&S standards.
  • Maintain machines operating within the project to company standards and as per OEM specifications.
  • Report to the Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter on day-to-day activities, breakdowns, and labour requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a positive safety culture within the team.

Your Experience

You will have:

  • A driver's license (HR License).
  • Trade Qualified in Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Established experience in mining either in field services or mobile equipment maintenance.
  • Developed safe operating practices.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
