Electrical Communications Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of communications and telemetry network facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, communications, and instrumentation with a proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing communication and telemetry equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, and timely repair of communication and telemetry equipment.
  • Maximize return on assets through effective performance and reliability of the respective equipment and tools.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications, and/or Instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in radio communications, telemetry networks, and maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge of communications technologies and equipment.
  • Mining industry experience essential.
