Cybersecurity Professional Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the world of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and strengthen security environments
  • Develop, implement, and manage application allowlisting configurations
  • Conduct software vulnerability assessments and perform upgrades and patching as required
  • Perform secure data restorations
  • Test, implement, monitor, and tune security software/hardware
  • Create and maintain documentation and work instructions for security services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting security system availability, performance, capacity, and utilization
  • Analyze traffic data and recommend improvements to security infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in cybersecurity with hands-on analytics
  • Strong IT security product knowledge (GUI and CLI)
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Desktop OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Exchange, and Teams
  • Ability to apply server engineer skills to security initiatives
  • Knowledge of technology risk, data privacy, and security compliance regulations
  • Proven experience supporting information security devices and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong grasp of attack tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
