IT Infrastructure Manager Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage our growing IT team at Ahrens.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, upgrading, and management of all IT infrastructure, including cloud, networks, telephony, and security systems.
This role is based between our Adelaide and Kingsford, SA offices, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all aspects of the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
- Support, configure, and maintain all IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems, leveraging strong system administration skills.
- Lead the IT Help Desk and team, providing effective and timely resolution of requests and incidents.
- Design cost-effective technical solutions that meet business requirements, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for the Group's IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems, including troubleshooting, planning, and implementing maintenance activities.
- Design, implement, maintain, and test data backup and recovery processes and procedures, ensuring business continuity.
- Foster innovation by exploring emerging technologies and approaches that improve resilience, lower costs, and enhance performance.
- Develop and implement appropriate cyber security controls, processes, and procedures aligned with the Group's risk management and cyber resilience objectives.
- Lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, replacements, and expansions of systems and networks.
- Significant experience as a Systems Administrator in a medium/large sized organisation.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Office 365.
- Experience managing both physical and virtual server environments.
- Leadership experience in managing small teams of technical staff.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Experience with network management and administration.
- Experience with firewalls and Virtual Private Network clients and servers.
- Experience with endpoint protection systems and email protection systems.
- Some experience supporting and managing databases.
- Knowledge of best practices in server infrastructure management.
- Excellent time management, organising, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage external service providers.
