Job Title: Family Preservation SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Preservation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our family preservation program, you will work closely with families to provide intensive case management services and support them in creating a safe and nurturing home environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide intensive wraparound case management services to children, families & caregivers
  • Support parents and caregivers to create a safe and nurturing home environment
  • Deliver assertive outreach, undertake risk assessments, and lead care team planning
  • Develop creative interventions to engage hard-to-reach families
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in social work, psychology or a child and family welfare related discipline
  • Considerable experience within the child, youth and family welfare sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of theoretical approaches relevant to working with infants, children, young people and families
  • Strong time management and communication skills
