Physiotherapist for Residential Aged Care Opportunity

We have full-time and part-time roles available for qualified Physiotherapists who can join our collaborative multidisciplinary team and contribute to delivering personalized treatments to our residents.
The successful candidate will be involved in our innovative approach to offering allied health services, utilizing our award-winning Plena Care Pathway. This program has been designed to provide therapists with the opportunity to tailor therapy programs for our residents, built from resident goals and priorities, and delivers evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions and group based active aging services.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and working within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check
