Job Title:

Secondary Maths Science Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths / Science educator to deliver lessons to students from Years 7-10 in an online environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement teaching programs or courses of study;
  • Utilize ICT learning platforms, particularly Canvas, effectively;
  • Have content knowledge and pedagogical practice to engage students in online learning;
  • Model and promote the vision and values of our institution;
  • Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels and develop online VCE courses;
  • Maintain records of class attendance and student progress;
  • Implement effective student management consistent with our strategic plan;
Requirements:
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia;
  • Proof of identity;
  • Recognised teaching qualification;
  • Clearance status of Working with Children Check (where applicable);
  • Registered with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
  • Statements of service from previous roles involving children;
  • References from previous roles involving children;
