About Us: We are an online-based tutoring company specializing in one-on-one personalized virtual teaching, with over 300 teachers registered. Our comprehensive range of programs includes Year 11-12 exam preparation for VCE, WACE, QCE, and SACE, Year 1-10 English Writing and Reading, Maths, Sciences, Scholarship and Selective Entry school exams.

Position: Online Bilingual One-on-one Maths/Sciences Teachers

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and professional teachers to join us for the following areas:

  • Mathematics (Year 1-10)
  • Mathematics (Year 11-12)
  • Sciences (Year 7-10)
  • Physics/Chemistry/Biology (Year 11-12)

Our students include Australia born students with English as their first language or as their additional language (EAL), as well as international students from China.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one sessions to students.
  • Assist students with understanding subject material, homework, and exam preparation.
  • Follow customized lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Track and report student progress.
  • Offer motivational support and academic guidance.
  • We now also offer opportunities for in-person sessions at student homes or libraries.

Requirements:

  • It is crucial for our teachers to possess HIGHLY PROFICIENT fluency in Mandarin due to our student demographic.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Maths/ Sciences subjects.
  • A degree in teaching or education is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience teaching in local schools is a strong asset.
  • Reliability with a consistent schedule and commitment to professional teaching.
  • Stable Internet connection and great with technology.
