About the Role

Airservices Australia is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of technical components of projects, designing and constructing facilities within the One SKY Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of technical components of projects, including architectural and engineering design, construction, commissioning, and implementation of high-reliability buildings, plant, and equipment.
  • Support project and program managers to deliver against scope, time, cost, quality, and people objectives of projects.
  • Provide technical input to all aspects of project delivery, including risk management and governance.
  • Coordinate all technical documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in decision-making and contribute to the development of project plans and strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an Australian tertiary institution or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and advanced negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to present complex and challenging solutions to multiple stakeholders, highlighting benefits and risks.
  • Extensive construction experience, particularly with high-reliability electrical and mechanical services requirements.
  • Experience in the application of systems engineering in a project environment.
  • Proven ability to manage scope, timelines, people, and expectations within a project environment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate experience in relating and networking in varied environments.
  • Proven ability to successfully implement new systems in a complex, diverse, and highly regulated environment.
  • Understanding of risk management and its application in the delivery of projects.
