We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for education and be committed to creating a fun, inclusive environment for children in before school, after school, and vacation care.

As a smaller service, we get to know each child and family personally, creating meaningful experiences that truly make a difference. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a close-knit community and make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operation of our programs, ensuring safety and enrichment.
  • Lead and support a dedicated team of educators, fostering their development and engagement.
  • Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs aligned with children's interests and needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community, fostering belonging.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining high care and safety standards.
  • Promote our service within the local community, aligned with our values.

Requirements of the Role :

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), First Aid, CPR, Asthma / Anaphylaxis certifications.
  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including the National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Previous experience managing a childcare service.
  • Proficiency with childcare management software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
