Prioritizing youth-led decision making and operating across multiple sites, our team provides dedicated care to young people aged 12-25 and their families. We prioritize seamless, person-centered care that reimagines how mental health services are experienced, accessed, and delivered for youth.

The Opportunity

The Manager, Youth Lived Experience role supports the continued development and quality improvement of youth lived experience programs at our organization. This leadership position values extensive experience in consultation, collaboration, co-design, and peer work.

As a key member of our leadership group, you will provide operational management and support to specific lived experience roles, offering expertise to guide our organization as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide lived experience leadership and line management to the Youth Peer Work Specialist and the Youth Lived Experience Consultant.
  • Lead and guide improvement projects across bed-based, subacute, and community programs.
  • Develop approaches to youth lived experience consultation for 12-14 year olds.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise drawn from your own lived and living experiences using the public mental health system.
  • Experience engaging in lived experience consultation activities and delivering youth peer work.
  • A passion for sharing your expertise and learning with others.
