As a Category Lead at Boral, you will play a critical role in driving performance in our high-value Fleet and Mobile Plant Category. Reporting to the Category Manager, you will develop and lead sourcing projects and tender processes to ensure Boral receives the best value from the supply market. You will also interface with key internal stakeholders and suppliers to advise on procurement risks, compliance, and internal controls.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead sourcing projects and tender processes to drive value and manage supply risks.
- Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers to advise on procurement risks, compliance, and internal controls.
- Lead and manage change following tender and award processes to deliver successful outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced procurement professional with relevant category management experience in a large and complex business.
- Strong analytical skills and competency with analytical tools to interpret information and provide insights.
- Exposure to the construction or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
