Endoscopy Suite Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Suite Manager to join our team.

  • This is a permanent full-time position that requires expertise in the development of surgical services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational leadership and oversight of specialist elective Endoscopy services. This includes pre and post procedure services, as well as 3 procedure rooms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in planning, design, commissioning, and integration of Endoscopy services;
  • Developing and reviewing Endoscopy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Standards;
  • Ensuring clinical and corporate governance is embedded in daily work practice;
  • Attracting high-quality visiting medical specialists and maintaining positive working relationships;
  • Overseeing resource management, including equipment and scheduling;
  • Participating in clinical committees and assisting with Root Cause Analyses;
  • Maintaining effective clinical leadership and developing training programs;
  • Engaging in clinical audit and reporting;
  • Monitoring performance and risk management; and
  • Liaising with corporate services on business cases and key performance indicators.

About You

We seek a highly skilled and experienced leader who possesses:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse;
  • A proven history of leadership and management in Senior Nursing roles within Endoscopy Services;
  • Demonstrated current clinical endoscopy experience and compliance with governing guidelines;
  • Strong conceptual and analytical abilities, along with advanced communication skills;
  • A demonstrated capacity to foster a positive culture promoting excellent patient care and responsible stewardship;
  • A solid understanding of best practice Human Resource principles and systems;
  • Experience in establishing and achieving budgetary goals and benchmarks;
  • A proven ability to influence behaviours and cultivate strong collaborative relationships;
  • Prior experience in commissioning Endoscopy Services is desirable;
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Management, or a related field are desirable;
  • Verification of eligibility to work in Australia; and
  • Identification check validation and Police check clearance.
