At Aurizon, we are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team as a Property and Infrastructure Expert. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide high-quality legal advice to protect the organization's interests in property, land tenure, and infrastructure matters.
About the Role:
- Provide commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of property and infrastructure matters, including land tenure, leasing, and licensing.
- Support the development and implementation of improved business efficiencies through continuous improvement and innovation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to support all aspects of the organization's business.
- Interact with and manage external legal advisors as needed.
About You:
- Admitted to practice as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 8 years' post-admission experience, with a strong background in property and infrastructure law.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
