About the Role

This position involves overseeing and implementing quality, health, safety, and environmental management plans. You will work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the achievement of QHSE objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting regular internal audits and inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
  2. Implementing corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
  3. Liaising with external auditors for certifications and accreditation.
  4. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
  5. Providing expert advice and guidance on QHSE matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for investigating incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. You will also prepare and submit QHSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of QHSE principles and practices, as well as familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations. They should have complete knowledge of relevant management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Requirements
  • A strong background in QHSE management or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting audits and inspections.
  • Experience in developing and implementing QHSE systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
