Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a commercial kitchen, managing daily operations, and developing menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and current trends.

  • Deliver exceptional dining experiences through quality food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Create and update menus to reflect customer preferences and industry standards.
  • Supervise a high-performing kitchen team and provide coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Monitor food costs and implement measures to control expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading a commercial kitchen, including restaurant service, banquet operations, in-room dining, and pool bar service.
  • Proven success motivating and leading a high-performing kitchen team.
  • Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of food standards and certifications, including Food Safety Certificate and First Aid.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
