About St Francis College OSHC
Our service is a key part of the parish and school community in Crestmead. We care for up to 60 children, providing programs that cater to their diverse needs while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
We foster a culture of diversity and interdependence, helping children value and respect one another. During vacation care, we offer various activities, including cooking, craft, outdoor sports, reading, board games, puzzles, construction, and gardening, welcoming children from other schools to join in the fun.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OCHS Coordinator to manage our day-to-day operations, oversee program delivery, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
