About the Role

The Management Accounts Team at The Travel Corporation AU is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing general ledger journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, reviewing Tropics Revenue Recognition reports, and maintaining Accruals and Prepayments schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare general ledger journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Review of Tropics Revenue Recognition reports and monthly preparation of Revenue Recognition Reconciliation
  • Analysis of Discounts and Promotions and cost allocation
  • Maintain Accruals and Prepayments schedules with ongoing monthly analysis to ensure balances are cleared
  • Assist with refunds and various ad-hoc reporting as required
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills having the ability to liaise and interact with management
  • Strong attention to detail and an organised, systematic approach to tasks
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A strong work ethic and a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
