As a key member of our investment team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's investment tax strategy and ensuring tax-informed decision-making across domestic and international transactions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in investment tax, with experience across deals, international structures and superannuation or funds management. They will possess strong technical tax knowledge, including Australian and foreign tax laws, with the ability to deliver clear, actionable advice.

You will lead technical advisory work, manage external relationships, and support a high-performing team. This is a leadership role with real impact - protecting stakeholder outcomes and ensuring investments are within the organization's tax risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert tax advice on investment structures, due diligence, portfolio management and complex compliance across asset classes (infrastructure, property, private equity and credit).
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders across Investments, Legal and Risk.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess any potential impact to the Fund's investments and contribute to industry submissions and internal readiness.
  • Coach and develop team members while driving continuous improvement and innovation in the Investment Tax function.
  • Lead the delivery of tax research, policy development and regulatory engagement aligned with the organization's tax strategy.
