Senior Tax Accountant Job Opportunity

As a seasoned tax professional, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax advice and support to individuals, businesses, and corporates. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex tax structures and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lodge tax returns for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and support on tax matters, including corporate tax, income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, withholding tax, and stamp duty.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed working papers for client matters, ensuring seamless record-keeping and reconciliation.
  • Develop and present supporting memoranda and research on ATO rules, demonstrating exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Engage directly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering personalized service, while continually developing your professional skills through CPDs and further education.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a public practice tax accountant in Australia.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop, with ambition to grow your income and advance your career.
  • A firm grasp of Australian tax fundamentals and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office.
  • A positive, personable manner when interacting with clients, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
