Senior Financial Analyst Role Overview:

This exciting opportunity is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team.

You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information, leading the administration and enhancement of key finance systems, and providing comprehensive management reports that drive business performance.

Your role will involve supporting planning cycles with advanced modelling techniques, acting as the go-to expert for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), and ensuring seamless system operation through regular maintenance and user support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain finance systems, including audits, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all financial systems by documenting workflows, processes, and system changes from a Finance perspective.
  • Lead Finance input into the design and implementation of new systems or enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in management accounting combined with proven expertise in financial analysis and reporting within complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administering finance systems such as IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles alongside deep knowledge of management reporting cycles as well as planning and forecasting methodologies.

  • Advanced skills in financial modelling and scenario planning supported by strong Excel abilities along with familiarity with data visualisation tools.
  • Proven track record documenting workflows, managing integrations between systems, and driving process automation initiatives that deliver tangible results.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders across Finance teams and senior leadership groups.
