This is a Senior Business Recovery Specialist role with a national team based in Perth, WA. The team supports underperforming businesses to determine the best path for recovery.

Job Description

The Senior Business Recovery Specialist will be part of a collaborative group of professionals who drive value throughout the deal and transformation lifecycle. The role involves:

  • Supporting clients to navigate formal insolvency processes and preserve value
  • Building trusted partnerships to deliver scenario planning, going concern analysis, and guiding clients in their duties and obligations
  • Deploying data analytics to diagnose issues and design integrated solutions
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting clients to overcome operational and financial challenges
  • Building partnerships across diverse client groups and sectors
  • Delivering outcomes that preserve and restore value for clients, stakeholders, and their businesses
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Recent experience in Big-4 or mid-tier corporate advisory firms
  • Proven experience working across turnaround, restructuring, insolvency, private credit, or relevant skills and an interest that will transition into these areas
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role, ideally including post-graduate qualifications
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations, and deliver financial analysis
  • Mindset for strategic problem-solving and unpacking operational inefficiencies to improve performance
