Role Overview

As a Wholesale Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of brands in Australia. Your primary focus will be on maximising the potential of each brand while adhering to their specific branding needs.

This role involves working closely with clients in Sydney to build a strong customer base and foundations for brand longevity and sales growth. You will be a key driver in positively impacting brand performance by exceeding quarterly sales targets.

  • Manage a portfolio of brands in collaboration with direct reports and supported by the wider team.
  • Develop and implement schedules and bookings with existing and potential accounts for each brand.
  • Nurture and manage accounts, collaborate with NSW Brand Managers, and ensure a clear sales strategy.
  • Oversee the showing process in the showroom, face-to-face, over the phone, or written correspondence, including merchandising/ranging and keeping collections presentable and accessible.
  • Ensure sales targets are reached or exceeded for each brand through correct placement, retargeting, and reviewing orders.
  • Proactively keep up to date with new and potential accounts, meet sales deadlines, prepare sales reports, and analyze results.
Additional Responsibilities

Update and manage the evolving database for your brand portfolio, maintain a high level of organisation, monitor seasonal budgets, drive in-season re-orders strategically, identify new business opportunities, and work flexibly during sales campaigns.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong brand and product knowledge of Australian brands and the marketplace.
  • The ability to keep up with changes in the market such as new stores, new trends, new brands, and cultural influences.
